Breton shortbread with chestnuts, candied chestnut cream, rosehip compote and chestnut pieces
The fresh, slightly tart notes of wild rose prolong the smooth, velvety sweetness of the chestnut, before echoing it; the flavours respond to and blend with each other, as if, according to Pierre Hermé, a form of chestnut were already slumbering in the cooked wild rose. For added indulgence, the biscuit is dotted with pieces of candied chestnut.
Available in individual, 3/4 and 6/8 person sizes.

Presence of amber rum in chestnut cream and vermicelli mixture: no cooking required
Storage and consumption advices
Store in its box in the refrigerator until ready to eat. Cut sufficiently large slices using a knife that has been dipped in hot water and wiped dry.
