PIERRE HERMÉ PARIS COMMITS TO WORKING WITH THE CORAL PLANTERS ASSOCIATION
With its Abysses collection, Pierre Hermé Paris dives into the oceans and celebrates the fragile beauty of coral reefs. These ecosystems are home to nearly 25% of marine biodiversity and are essential to the balance of life on Earth, yet 20% have disappeared forever and barely 30% remain in good condition.
Faced with this urgent situation, Maison Pierre Hermé Paris is committed to working alongside The Coral Planters, a French association that works to preserve and restore reefs and raise awareness among future generations.
ABOUT THE CORAL PLANTERS
The Coral Planters is a non-profit organisation recognised as being of public interest, which works to preserve marine ecosystems through awareness-raising initiatives and the restoration of coral ecosystems.
The association is mainly active in the Maldives, Mozambique and Rodrigues Island, where it transplants new coral reefs and raises awareness among young people and the general public about ocean conservation.
The subject of transmission is dear to us: transmitting a taste, a skill. It is also one of the missions of The Coral Planters, which works to raise awareness among future generations about ocean conservation. Through your donations online or in our shops, you are contributing to the preservation of these threatened treasures.
Pierre Hermé Paris is offering you the opportunity to become part of this project by adopting a coral, paired with a creation from the Abysses collection. You will receive your adoption certificate along with one of the creations of your choice. A gift that is both delicious, meaningful and symbolic.
