Advent Calendars - Christmas 2023
As the year draws to a close, Pierre Hermé invites us to take a colourful trip around the world of flavours: "Destinations" is a journey of taste taken by the pastry chef and visual artist Gianpaolo Pagni. His graphic creations give rise to an incredible diversity of world maps and shapes, sometimes round, sometimes rectangular or curved, in which a multitude of bright colours blend together.
Pierre Hermé has created three versions of Advent Calendars: "Edition Limitée", which comes with a Christmas bauble created by glass artist Jeremy Maxwell Wintrebert; "Infiniment Gourmand", with a box of delicious chocolates at its centre; and "Signature", which contains twenty-four chocolate bonbons to be discovered day after day.
"LIMITED EDITION" ADVENT CALENDAR
The Advent calendar is offered as a "Limited Edition" in collaboration with glass artist Jeremy Maxwell Wintrebert. An incredible glassblower, he has created a stunning Christmas bauble in blue, yellow, red and green, combined with his use of colour. Just like Gianpaolo Pagni's stamped drawing, the material expresses itself through its velvety touch and sparkling colours, a definite invitation to contemporary art for the Christmas season.
"INFINIMENT GOURMAND" ADVENT CALENDAR
The centrepiece of this calendar is a box of delicacies and chocolates to be enjoyed from November onwards. This way, those in a hurry can wait patiently until 1st December to discover the treasures hidden in the 1st drawer.
SIGNATURE" ADVENT CALENDAR
In this Christmas wreath, twenty-four chocolate bonbons can be discovered day after day to gently wind their way through the month of December until Christmas Eve.
