Green pistachio cake and cream
Pierre Hermé showcases the many facets of pistachio in an infinitely moist cake. To enhance the subtle flavour of the dried fruit, the cake is topped with an infinitely indulgent pistachio praline cream.
You can taste the contrast in textures between the moist sponge, the melt-in-the-mouth, crunchy praline and the creamy smoothness of the cream. The toasted notes and roasted aromas of the praline reveal the full aromatic spectrum of the pistachio.
